#WanderLAD: Osaka, Japan
So you made it past the dreaded Monday, and yet for some reason you woke up this morning thinking it was Friday. We feel ya. You're stuck at your desk and now more than ever, the day seems to be dragging on. At this point, your mind starts to wander...and we want to wander with you.
This week, let's pack our bags and get lost in...
Osaka is the second largest city in Japan, and you’ll find everything from urban skyscrapers to historic castles. Known in Japan as well as abroad for their food, some regional specialties are okonomiyaki (pan-fried batter cake) and takoyaki (octopus in fried batter).
Make sure to pair the dishes with a bottle of sake, which in Osaka is made with fresh water from local mountains. At times suggested as the food capital of the world, you won’t want to miss an opportunity to wine and dine here.
