#WanderLAD: Marrakech, Morocco
So you made it past the dreaded Monday, and yet for some reason you woke up this morning thinking it was Friday. We feel ya. You're stuck at your desk and now more than ever, the day seems to be dragging on. At this point, your mind starts to wander...and we want to wander with you.
This week, let's pack our bags and get lost in...
Did you know the name “Marrakech” originated from the Berbers population in North Africa? Well, the alias is fitting, because travelers wouldn’t want to leave once they soak up everything this imperial city has to offer.
Smell the mixture of orchards and olive groves surrounding the water reservoirs of the Menara gardens. Laud and admire the quaint architecture and rich cultural relevance of the Bahia Palace. Or cash out at the Marrakech marketplaces and stock up on some their jewelry-clad shop lamps, or other cultural keepsakes. After all, what’s the point of visiting the corners of the globe without taking a piece of it with you?
